Dr. Carlos Roa

Is the Chairman and Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at the Central Medical Hospital in Guadalajara, Mexico. He holds the position of president of the Jalisco Maxillofacial Society and sub-treasurer of the Mexican Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is the present director of the facial trauma and Orthonagthic Center at the Central Medical Hospital.

Dr. Roa special interests are focused on the field of micro-vascular surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction of oral cancer in adolescents. He is a pioneer in this field in Latin America and has presented numerous scientific papers to the Mexican Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a contributor of Dr. Mongalo surgical textbook “Advanced dental implantology: from full arch loading to micro-vascular surgeries”.

Dr.Roa divides his professional time between the Hospital and his private practice limited to oral oncology, TMJ surgeries and conventional oral surgery.
