Level 5 was created for highly experienced clinicians who:

Have placed no fewer than 150 implants, or
Have completed Levels 1, 2, and/or 3 with Dr. Virgil Mongalo, or
Have prior hospital-based surgical training or formal surgical program experience

This level represents the highest surgical intensity within the program and is focused on complex ridge reconstruction and advanced bone augmentation techniques.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

✔ Diagnose severe horizontal and vertical ridge deficiencies
✔ Execute predictable ridge reconstruction techniques
✔ Perform sinus augmentation with advanced graft stabilization
✔ Manage complex cases with confidence and surgical control
✔ Elevate their practice to advanced reconstructive implant surgery

Each participant will operate on 5–7 advanced grafting cases, including:

Horizontal Atrophic Maxilla and Mandible

Participants will learn and perform:

Ridge Split Technique
Bone Expansion Protocols
Autogenous Block Grafts with Titanium Fixation Screws

Vertical Atrophic Ridge Deficiencies

Participants will perform:

Lateral Window Sinus Lift Augmentation
Advanced Vertical Augmentation Techniques

Complex / Unusual Cases

Challenging anatomical situations
Severe bone deficiencies
Decision-making requiring advanced surgical creativity
Biologic and biomechanical problem-solving

These cases are designed to push clinical judgment, surgical precision, and grafting predictability to an advanced level.

SURGICAL STRUCTURE

Doctors will be grouped in pairs
Each pair will have one advanced surgical faculty member
Faculty will supervise every step of every surgery
Emphasis is placed on biologic principles, flap management, graft stabilization, and complication prevention

This multidisciplinary faculty ensures exposure to multiple surgical philosophies and reconstruction approaches.

MASTERHIP QUALIFICATION

This intensive surgical training fulfills the clinical and didactic requirements toward Mastership recognition through:

- 🎓 American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (aaip dental organization”]

Course Objetive

What is included?

84 CE Continuing Education hours.
Implants, abutments and bio-materials used on patients.
Direct supervision of 6-8 surgeries on patients.
All surgeries will be performed under direct supervision of board certified maxillofacial surgeon, prosthodontic faculty and implant masters.
Fulfills requirements for ICOI Mastership.
Fulfills requirements for AAIP Mastership.
Fulfills implant requirements for RCDS in Toronto.
Dr. Mongalo’s surgical text book and Blue Sky Bio implant specials.
7 Nights at Avid Hotel Fresnillo Valparaiso Course.
