7 DAY INTERMEDIATE DOCTORS WILL OPERATE ON:
Prerequisite for operating on semi-complex cases:
1. Was created for doctors with minimal implant surgical experience but with intermediate experience in oral surgery procedures, such as multiple surgical extractions, extracting wisdom teeth, full-arch flaps, and bone grafting.

2. LIT alumni who completed Level 1
Or
3. USA doctors who completed a 1-2 year GPR with strong surgical component
• Placement of 17-20 implants on partially and fully edentulous patients.
• Semi-complex surgeries.
• Intra-crestal sinus elevations with simultaneous implant placement.
• Full arch surgeries for hybrids and overdentures.
• Multiple extractions and immediate placement on anterior and posteriors. * PRF and L-PRF combined with synthetic bone to form sticky bone used to aid in GBR procedures.
• Fulfills clinical requirements for ICOI Mastership.
• Fulfills clinical requirements for AAIP Mastership.
• LIT is an AGD and ADA-certified CE provider, this training carries 84 CE hours.
• For Canadians, the fulfills the requirements established by the RCDS.
COURSE DETAILS
Tuition: $23,500
USD$1000 discount for LIT Alumni and recent graduates
Includes:
• 84 CE credit hours in oral implantology.
• Each attending doctor will perform 6-8 semi-complex surgeries on patients
• Doctors will assist on 6-8 surgeries
• Lectures and surgical hands-on workshop on models.
• Daily case review of Ct-scan and 3D images.
• 7 nights of hotel accommodations.
• Satisfies clinical requirements of masterships awarded by the AAIP and the ICOI
• Breakfast and lunch.

DAY 1
* Lectures on intra-crestal sinus elevation and bone augmentation.
* Understanding inclusion criteria for lateral windows approach, intra-crestal technique and sinus implosion.
* Usage of motorized crestal lift surgical kit and sinus safe drills with stoppers.
* Selection of synthetic bone mixed with blood as choice of biomaterial.
* Lectures on full arch surgeries, extractions and immediate implant placements on semi-complex surgeries
DAYS 2-3-4-5
* Dr. Mongalo will review all Ct-scans and 3D images of surgical patients operated on daily.
* There will be one professor supervising two attending doctors.
* Each attending doctor will operate one patient per day, Monday through Thursday.
* Each doctor will perform 6-8 surgeries on patients.
DAYS 6
* Attending doctors will present all clinical cases performed during this week.
* Doctors will fill applications and take examinations to satisfy ICOI and AAIP Masterships.
* Doctors will fill course evaluations and surgical goal forms.
DAYS 7
* Fly back home. LIT private drivers will pick up the doctors 3 hours prior to their flight departure time.
